PayLumina through PayNorthwest is the web-based user platform used to manage and process payroll. Seattle sick leave laws, Seattle minimum wage requirements, vacation time, and paid time off tracking can all be handled from a single database. PayLumina also provides employers peace of mind with accurate accrual, tax, and reporting engines.

Time & Attendance

AristaPoint’s partnership with PayNorthwest allows us to provide employers with TimeLumina a reliable time recording platform designed to reduce employer costs. Recording time has never been this simple and more accurate. Employers simply set up one of PayNorthwest’s many time management systems, and track employee time without any errors.

Paid Time Off

Paid time off (PTO) is a common way for companies to combine sick leave, vacation, and personal days under one policy that empower employees to manage their time off. Unlike traditional leave plans, PTO plans don’t differentiate between personal, vacation or sick leave days. PTO policies are attractive to workers, provide more flexibility for employees, are less difficult to track, and avoid the need to meet multiple compliance standards.

Employers today face increasing reporting requirements. No matter what the size of a company required reporting is increasing. Successful management of the requirements should include a strategy to meet the current and future reporting requirements.

W-2 Reporting

Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) employers are required to report the cost of coverage for employees under a group medical plan also known as W-2 reporting. A W-2 report needs to be compiled for each employee, and doing so can take countless hours and time away from the group administrator. Through our partnership with Payroll administrator PayNorthwest W-2 reporting can all be done online on a secure web portal saving group administrator’s time. On the other hand employees can also access and print prior year W-2’s on their schedule whenever necessary.

6055 Reporting

The Affordable Care Act now requires applicable large employers to file employee benefit information form 1095 with the IRS and to provide statements to their full-time employees about the health insurance coverage they have offered. Applicable large employers may be a single entity or may consist of a group of related entities, but in either case, these reporting forms must be submitted to the IRS. The IRS then uses the information to administer the employer shared responsibility provisions to determine whether or not an employee is eligible for the premium tax credit, whether employees have met the mandatory insurance requirement, and if employers have met the requirement to provide affordable coverage to employees.

Seattle Minimum Wage

Seattle’s minimum wage ordinance went into effect on April 1, 2015. Large employers (501 or more employees) and small employers (500 or fewer employees) alike are subject to new rules and regulations surrounding the increase in minimum wage. With PayNorthwest, you can easily accommodate the changes in payroll that your employees in Seattle will require.

Seattle Sickleave

Employers with more than four-full time employees are required to provide workers with paid leave for illness, preventative care and critical safety needs. This ordinance applies to all employees, including full-time, part-time and temporary workers that work within the Seattle city limits. PayNorthwest’s online portal has the ability and capacity to help companies keep track of their employee’s work schedule and compliance requirements of the Seattle Ordinance. If your company has employees working from home or performing work in the city of Seattle, you are required to comply under the regulation.
